New Patio

This project involved installing a new backyard patio to create a functional outdoor living space. The homeowner wanted a durable, level surface suitable for seating, grilling, and family gatherings. After a site evaluation, the existing ground was cleared and prepared for construction. The area was properly graded to ensure water drained away from the home and surrounding structures.

A compacted base of crushed stone was installed to support the patio and prevent settling. Once the foundation was stable, the patio material was laid in precise alignment, with tight joints and consistent spacing. Edge restraints were added to maintain structural integrity, and polymeric sand was swept into the joints to lock everything in place. The finished patio delivered a smooth, level surface that enhanced the backyard’s usability, improved aesthetics, and added long-term value to the property.
