Bathroom Retile

Tile Work

Service Area

Albnany, NY

Project Description

This project involved retiling a worn and outdated bathroom to improve durability, appearance, and overall functionality. The homeowner reported cracked tiles, aging grout lines, and moisture issues around the shower. After a detailed inspection, the old tile and compromised backer material were carefully removed and the surfaces were prepped to create a stable, waterproof foundation. New cement board and proper waterproofing membranes were installed to prevent future moisture damage. High-quality tile was then laid on the floors and shower walls with precise alignment and upgraded grout for long-term strength. Finishing touches included fresh caulking around all joints and edges to seal out humidity and maintain a clean look. The retiling project restored the bathroom’s visual appeal, improved water resistance, and significantly extended the lifespan of the space.
